Northwest Regional Education Service District seek an outstanding candidate for the position of Chief Human Resources Officer to join its educational team. This position is available to an outstanding candidate with proven successful human reources leadership experience in an eduacational or business setting who holds a Master's degree in education, educational leadership, human resources, public or business administration or a related field, and who can effectively promote NWRESD's programs and services, and our mission. The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) oversees all human resource functions within the District and serves as an advisor to the Superintendent on matters related to personnel and the workforce. The CHRO leads the work of hiring, developing, and retaining outstanding and highly diverse human capital talent that effectively educates students served directly by NWRESD staff and in our twenty component districts. The CHRO assures that all hiring, retention and advancement systems - and the practices that support them - support and elevate a highly diverse, multicultural, and multilingual workforce at all levels of the organization. The CHRO ensures that employees are valued, respected, and treated with fairness, and that legal and contractual obligations toward employees are met through the administration of labor relations and collective bargaining agreements. The CHRO has multiple supervisory responsibilities, and has a significant impact on the quality of human talent, capacity, and productivity within the organization. The position is based at our Washington Service Center in Hillsboro. Travel within our four county region will be necessary.

NWRESD is the largest and most diverse of Oregon’s 19 ESDs, serving twenty school districts and more than 123,000 students in four counties in the NW corner of the state. COMPENSATION: Benefit package includes family medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, professional dues, conference and tuition reimbursement, travel reimbursement, and retirement planning resources. Competitive salary, DOE. Twelve-month work year (240 working days), including 10 holidays.
