The Capital Project Services (CPS) division is currently hiring for two (2) Project Managers to join a group of professional and technical experts who are committed to designing and constructing a safe and efficient multi-modal transportation system in the most cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner possible. These positions will be responsible for overseeing the development, design, and construction of major transportation capital projects. These projects include roads, bikeways, bridges, and sidewalks. All of which are intended to improve safety, reduce bottlenecks, and address transportation demands throughout Washington County.
The individuals in these roles should be resourceful problem solvers, adept team-builders and able to define and coordinate work activities associated with all aspects of project development and construction. These positions require strong organizational and communication skills as well as an understanding of permits and regulations that impact transportation projects.
Education and Experience:
Three (3) years of professional project management experience that includes leading and managing discrete projects from initiation and planning through closure and evaluation; OR
A Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, surveying, environmental, transportation planning, public administration or a closely related field may substitute for three (3) years of the experience; OR
An Oregon Project Management Associate Certificate or Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute; AND
Two (2) years professional project management experience that includes leading and managing discrete projects from initiation and planning through closure and evaluation.
