The City of Bend Growth Management Department is actively recruiting for one full-time Growth Management Director. This opportunity is a Non-Represented, FLSA exempt position.
The Director plans, organizes, leads, and directs the City of Bend's long-range growth management planning efforts as a member of the City's executive management team. This position leads long-range master planning efforts for the City of Bend including land use, transportation, utility and facility master plans. The Director is responsible for managing the department budget, managing department staff, coordination with other City departments and partner agencies in development and implementation of long-range planning documents, and working with City Council to adopt growth management policies and programs.
