Central City Concern is looking for a Senior Director of Substance Use Disorder Services to head our SUDS programs. In this role you will join the Health Services leadership team and provide ongoing development and improvement in the quality, effectiveness, and strength of the health services provided by CCC!
The Senior Director of Substance Use Disorder Services will optimize the operational, financial, and programmatic excellence of the services provided by CCC Substance Use Disorder Services programs. This includes development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of a broad and inclusive range of services provided by the CCC Recovery Center, Blackburn Center, Hooper Detoxification Stabilization Center, Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program and Letty Owings Center, including but not limited to peer-delivered services, traditional outpatient and residential services, harm reduction, medication-assisted treatment, and detoxification.

Essential duties will include:
Furthering the mission of CCC:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships external to the organization with funders, peers, and other industry partners as appropriate to best serve the needs of the organization.
• Represent CCC in community and public discussions, forums, and in planning and committee settings, particularly those related to Substance Use Disorder Services.
Program Leadership:
• Provide management oversight of Substance Use Disorder Services programs
• Recruit, hire and supervise management teams.
• Mentor and coach staff in a culture of safety, quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Develop and sustain innovative and diverse clinical programming.
• Foster a culture of healing, learning and recovery through intentional activities for both staff and patients.
• Create and implement professional development opportunities for staff.
• Provide at least 8 hours per month of direct clinical care in residential or outpatient alcohol and drug programs.
Financial Oversight:
• Develop budgets and collaborate with CCC’s Finance team to develop systematic reports and processes to detect and respond to variances in expenses and revenues in a timely manner.
• Regularly review financial and operational results with direct reports in team setting to facilitate collaborative understanding and problem-solving of financial issues.
• Ensure that financial results meet or exceed adopted budgets; recommend and execute plans to improve Substance Use Disorder Services programs’ financial performance as needed.
• Assertively seek and apply for innovative funding and staff development opportunities through private and public funding sources.
Operational Excellence:
• Ensure that program services and operations are practiced according to the highest professional and ethical standards.
• Develop strategic, measurable outcome and in-process goals for all dimensions of Substance Use Disorder Services programs to lead clinical, operational, and financial excellence.
• Oversee the design and implementation of systematic, rigorous standard processes for all aspects of work of Substance Use Disorder Services programs to support the attainment of clinical goals in the domains noted above.
• Develop and maintain systems to ensure compliance with regulations, licensures, credentials and contractual stipulations.
• Ensure that CCC policies, procedures and expected practices are implemented, maintained and followed.
• Ensure clinical privileging requirements are met for all direct reports pursuant to CCC’s Privileging Policy
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a high-level administrator in a health or human services organization.
• Master’s degree required in Behavioral Health, Public Health or Public Administration
• Minimum of a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) II
• Must possess a current driver’s license and qualify as an Acceptable Driver as designated in Central City Concern’s Fleet Safety policy.
