Pharmacy Triage Technician
Customer Service/Call Center
Portland, OR, USA
The Pharmacy Triage Technician should be highly detail oriented, focused, great at multi-tasking, reliable, have excellent customer service skills, and good communication/teamwork skills. The candidate must be a licensed Oregon certified pharmacy technician in good standing.
Accurately and efficiently review inbound faxes and enter prescription data into the pharmacy order system (Vboss)
Perform general triage support functions: cancelling orders, updating ship methods, addresses, replacement of orders, and general troubleshooting
Communicate with clinics and pet owners via phone and email to assist the pharmacist with building pet profile information
Communicate with with other departments via email and spreadsheets
Ensures that all pharmacy related communications and written documentation is complete and accurate which is essential for the smooth functioning of multiple team units within the pharmacy
Ability to cross-train and work competently in other Triage tasks
Other projects as assigned

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of prescription abbreviations and mathematics related to prescriptions as well as general regulatory requirements of pharmacy practice

Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time
Environment where dogs could be present in the office areas of the business
Call center environment
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Licensed Oregon certified pharmacy technician in good standing
