Catlin Gabel has an exceptional opportunity available for a talented fundraiser to join the Advancement team during an exciting time at the school. We are looking for a high caliber individual with a demonstrated track record of managing leadership donor and volunteer relationships, securing leadership annual gifts, and leading annual strategies. The preferred candidate will be talented in initiating new tactics to support and enhance fundraising objectives.

CATLIN GABEL PHILANTHROPY
The school's annual giving program known as the “Catlin Gabel Fund,” is a highly coordinated effort with a track record of success, bringing in well over $1.9 million annually from parents, grandparents, alumni and friends.



After a three-year strategic planning process and the development of an enrollment and master plan, Catlin Gabel is launching a five-year comprehensive capital campaign. This exciting endeavor will generate significant support for strategic initiatives and capital projects. Upgrading donors to leadership levels of giving will be critical to the overall success of the campaign.





ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Meet all goals set with the Director of Advancement, focused on annual leadership giving, relationship management, and personalized approaches.
Responsible for the qualification, engagement, solicitation, and stewardship of CG Fund donors and prospects. This position will be expected to actively manage a portfolio and utilize multiple channels (phone, email, in-person, etc.) to connect with donors and build the broader CG donor pipeline.
Oversee and provide active mentorship to the CG Fund Assistant Director; who is charged with: 1. Recruiting, motivating, and managing volunteers to solicit their peers, 2. Developing and executing all annual appeals.
Provide active relationship management with Catlin Gabel’s corporate matching donors, ensuring the school stays abreast of existing and new opportunities.
In partnership with the Alumni Team and the CG Fund Assistant Director, coordinate and execute an annual Give Day for the school’s alumni population.
Partner with the Advancement Services Director and all front-line fundraisers to ensure managed prospects are continuing and increasing their annual support.






MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Three+ years of fundraising experience, proven track record with personal solicitations.
Ability to manage internal and external relationships. Strong interpersonal skills.
Understanding of annual strategies, including direct response fundraising, donor segmentation approaches, and volunteers.
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Experience with Raiser’s Edge, or similar donor databases.
Availability for occasional evening or weekend work and travel.
Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
