The Cook will work with our dietitian and food services staff to prepare and serve a variety of nutritious and diverse meals, meeting the needs of both Youth and Adult Residential clients. The cook will also oversee clients in completion of their kitchen duties, ensuring they are completed in a manner consistent with their treatment needs. A current food handler’s card and driver’s license are required
Experience with large batch, institutional cooking (up to 100 clients) preferred
SHIFT Rotating Days and Evenings
PAY RATE $13.50 per hour
We encourage applications from those in recovery, but we require 2+ years of continuous sobriety for candidates who identify with being in recovery. A DHS criminal background investigation is conducted on all new employees. Convictions are evaluated for each position and are not necessarily disqualifying.
