Central City Concern is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide comprehensive solutions to ending homelessness and achieving self-sufficiency. CCC provides many services, such as addiction treatment, employment, housing, mental health, primary care, and other related culturally specific services, to a diverse population. TITLE: Employment Specialist I or II
DEPARTMENT: Employment Access Center
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
SALARY: $16.00-$17.60 OR $17.00-$18.70/Per hour
SUMMARY: The Employment Specialist is responsible for all areas of employment including career exploration, employment preparation, assistance with finding employment and job retention. This position will work closely with other service providers to coordinate services and ensure ongoing supports for individuals to maintain long term success.
1.1 Employment Specialist I education and experience must meet one of the following:
a) High school diploma or equivalent required and 3 years of general work experience.
b) Associates Degree and 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
c) Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1.2 Employment Specialist II education and experience must meet one of the following:
a) Associate’s Degree and 2 years of relevant work experience required (possible positions to fulfill this requirement are in fields including but not limited to: social services, training and coaching, human resources).
b) Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant work experience preferred (possible positions to fulfill this requirement are in fields including but not limited to: social services, training and coaching, human resources).
