If you love providing customer service in a park office setting, you might be the perfect candidate for a guest services coordinator position at Oxbow Regional Park. We are offering three variable hour positions: one 40 hours per week position and two 20 hours per week positions (see schedules below).

Schedules
We are recruiting for three guest services coordinators, as follows:

A. One full-time variable hour position, beginning (approximately) May 1 and ending Sept. 30, 2020. This position will work 40 hours per week, noon to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday with a 30-minute lunch break through August; based on business needs, the hours may be adjusted in September.

A. One part-time variable hour position, beginning (approximately) May 1 and ending Sept. 30, 2020. This position will work 20 hours per week, 3 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Sunday with a 30-minute lunch break through August; based on business needs, the hours may be adjusted in September.

A. One part-time variable hour position, beginning (approximately) May 1 and ending Sept. 30, 2020. This position will work 20 hours per week, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays with a 30-minute lunch break through August; based on business needs, the hours may be adjusted in September.

Guest services coordinators are the main point of contact for thousands of people who visit Oxbow Regional Park each summer. We're looking for someone who shares Metro's commitment to making sure that all of our region's diverse communities – including communities of color and low-income communities – benefit from a world-class park system.

You would play an important role in our commitment to offering safe, friendly destinations where all visitors feel welcome. You would report directly to the administrative manager for Metro's Parks and Nature Department and work closely with park operations managers and other guest services coordinators.

Experience and education
• Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• One year of general office and specialized customer service and problem solving experience;
o or any combination of education and experience that would provide the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job.

Preferred qualifications
• At least 2 years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• We serve a variety of diverse communities at our parks and while not a requirement, the ability to speak Spanish or Russian is preferred.
