About the Position: This position offers an exceptional opportunity for one to use their training and experience to contribute to the success of Washington County's Internet and Internet web sites and participate in the implementation of current and emerging technologies for these important public resources and provide a high-quality digital experience for the employees and community. As an active member of the ITS Digital Experience Team, you will develop and maintain the County's Internet and Intranet web sites, manage SaaS features and offerings used throughout the organization, and participate in site design, feature development, and information architecture.
The ideal candidate will possess advanced level experience with administering third party cloud resident hosting platforms as well as being fluent in multiple languages commonly used in modern website programming. They will also be seasoned in Website development, design, support, troubleshooting, security, and management. Skills must include the full range of a "full stack developer" from PHP programming to IIS configuration to TLS/SSL management to LDAP authentication.
Education and Experience:
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
A high school diploma AND seven (7) years of professional experience in either Website development, Website systems administration or Website design. OR
Associate degree in computer science or related field AND five (5) years of professional experience in either Website development, Website systems administration or Website design. OR
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field AND three (3) years of professional experience in either Website development, Website systems administration.
Salary $7,434.54 - $9,033.16 Monthly
