As a first-line working supervisor, you will serve as a process and subject matter expert for your staff, officers in the field and other local jurisdictions. In this role, you will hire staff, review performance and administer discipline as well as use a variety of specialized software systems to record law enforcement data. The work performed is completed, oftentimes, under strict time constraints and sometimes in emergency situations.
This position works within a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week facility and requires the ability to work all shifts including day, swing and graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• An Associate's Degree and three (3) years of law enforcement records or related administrative experience; OR
• Five (5) years of law enforcement records or related administrative experience. A combination of direct supervision, lead worker, or trainer experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of the law enforcement records or other related administrative experience.
