New Relic's Business Applications team is looking for a G&A systems focused leader to help deliver projects here at New Relic. The ideal candidate is a mixture of data analyst, business process authority, and project manager. You'll report to the Director of Business Applications and help deliver a variety of strategic initiatives supporting New Relic's business leaders, initially with revenue recognition and FP&A tooling but growing to expand across New Relic’s G&A applications including integration tools like Mulesoft and additional financial and HR systems. In addition, you will work closely with the New Relic product, HR, Legal and financial teams so technical expertise will be critical to your success. What You'll Do
Lead the project lifecycle of medium to large SaaS implementation projects including RFPs, system and implementation partner selection, requirements gathering, project planning and management, risk management, communications, and partner management.
Comprehensive requirements gathering and documentation through user stories and technical specifications documents.
Actively help cross-functional teams estimate and decompose complex projects into manageable parts with delivery plans. Track progress against those plans and facilitate trade-off discussions on scope, schedule or resources.
Use expertise to challenge the current business process, assumptions, and systems design when appropriate to drive team towards scalable solutions
Coordinate implementation of multi-team projects
Form strong partnerships with operational partners to ensure delivered systems meet their needs
3-5 years of experience leading successful implementations or significant enhancements of SaaS systems (Rev Pro, Oracle Revenue Management, Anaplan, Mulesoft, Zuora, Spring, etc)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science
Understanding of key HR, financial and legal business processes such as quote to cash, revenue recognition, contract lifecycle management, financial close process, recruiting and onboarding
Experience with program/portfolio management toolsets (JIRA/Portfolio/Confluence)
Champions continuous improvement and finds opportunities to streamline/optimize current practices in order to shorten delivery schedules, improve quality, and/or increase efficiency
Experience with CI/CD best practices/methodologies
Proven track record of delivering complex projects from system selection to implementation, including management of 3rd party implementation partners and integrations to timeline and budget
Demonstrated skills delivering multi-team, cross-team deliverables with a combination of SaaS and custom solutions
Excellent communications skills for both business and technical audiences
