Under the general supervision of the Program Manager, the Site Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the SUN (Schools Uniting Neighborhoods) Community School. SUN is a partnership of Multnomah County, the school district, and El Programa Hispano Catlico. In collaboration with the school principal, staff, and family leadership team and community, the Site Manager will develop school based programs addressing academics, enrichment, and recreation; develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with school staff; work with school staff to ensure that programming is linked to academic curriculum; coordinate and facilitate recruitment and supervision of activity instructors; coordinate a system to ensure access to County-funded and community human and health services; develop and maintain relationships with local community providers; ensure that core services are culturally responsive to meet the needs of a middle school with a large Latino population.

Design and implement the SUN Community School Extended-Day and summer programming at Wilkes Elementary School, aligning services of community partners, school-led activities and SUN activities into a one comprehensive model.
Develop core services to address the academic, enrichment, recreation, leadership, and social service needs. The services must be developed to meet the needs of a large and culturally diverse school.
Lead outreach efforts to youth and families to inform them about services and community resources, including EPHC specific services.
Recruit students for SUN extended-day and families for adult programming.
Attend supervision meetings with SUN program manager, Multnomah County SUN Site Manager meetings, monthly SUN team and EPHC meetings.
Manage a budget for program expenses.
Organize and maintain records and documentation as required.
Complete reports as required by agency, partners and funders.
In collaboration with the school and community, lead 3 community events per school year. As well as contribute to EPHC's 3 community events per year.
Perform other duties as assigned by EPHC supervisor.
Adherence to El Programa Hispano Catlico/Catholic Charities policies and procedures as well as intake and participation enrollment and attendance in county-wide data entry system (ServicePoint).
Develop and maintain relationships within the agency, with staff, parents, community partners and social service providers as well as be a mentor to students participating in the Extended Day.
Create and lead evening adult classes, the Family Leadership Team, and family workshops, according to County or grant requirements and in support of El Programa Hispano Catlico' s strategic plan.
Attend school and SUN events such as Back to School Night, SUN Showcase evenings, and Parent-Teacher Conferences to provide outreach to families and promote services available through El Programa Hispano Catlico and the SUN Service System.
Coordinate the Floyd Light SUN Community School Food Pantry, including ordering product from Oregon Food Bank, tracking distribution data, submitting reports to Oregon Food Bank, promoting the Food Pantry in the school community, managing food pantry budget and coordinating delivery and distribution details.
Coordinate with school staff and administrations to support the objectives and outcomes of Floyd Light, the David Douglas School District, and the overall mission of El Programa Hispano Catlico and the SUN Service System
Hire and supervise SUN temporary staff, JV member and volunteers. Following the Catholic Charities and El Programa Hispano procedures.
Provide outreach to donors and grants for specific program needs, following the Catholic Charities and El Programa Hispano procedures.

Minimum of BA or BS in public service, social work, education, or related field.
Must be bilingual (Spanish/English) and bi-culturally competent, experience with Latino children and families.
Ability to communicate concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English.
Commitment to EPHC/Catholic Charities mission to work in partnership with vulnerable populations to achieve lasting solutions to poverty and injustice.
Experience managing budgets and supervision/coordination of staff.
Experience in developing academic, enrichment or recreational programs.
Experience working with middle school youth.
Experience in collaborating with a variety of agencies/programs.
Demonstrate judgment and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
Strong analytical and strategic problem solving skills.
Available to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
Ability to work well in team setting, as well as independently; be flexible and adapt well to different dynamics.
Reliable transportation to run program related errands and attend off-site meetings.
Successful completion of civil, criminal and motor vehicle background checks.
Ability to support organizational and program specific mission and goals.
