The Information Services Section supports the agency's mission by building and maintaining stable, reliable, and readily accessible technology infrastructure. The IT team provides network administration, computer system maintenance, and application support for the entire agency. The team's many services include systems analysis, design, and implementation, providing expertise across the agency's diverse program offerings.



What you will do!
You will help lead the continued implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 within the Department of Energy (ODOE). The CRM system provides a platform allowing us to modernize current business processes, enhance service delivery to the public, and create a solid data foundation for data reporting. The Senior System Developer will have the opportunity to provide significant influence on the continued design, construction, and deployment of the CRM system and other web applications.

Qualifications

Six (6) years of information systems application development experience.
OR
An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND four (4) years of information systems application development experience.
OR
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; AND two (2) years of information systems application development experience.
OR
A Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related filed may substitute for all of the above.



Requested Skills

•Experience with customer relationship management systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SalesForce.
•Expertise in .NET computer programming languages.
•Experience with front end web development using Javascript frameworks
•Experience designing and administering databases using SQL Server 2012/2017
•Experience administering and developing using cloud platforms
•Ability to perform business analysis and document business processes and requirements.
•Skills in facilitating meetings and decisions among diverse interest groups, including working with non-technical users.
