Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for supporting sales management and sales operations through overseeing the support of the selling process. This includes sample inventory process, preparing for sales meetings, sales presentations, trade shows, marketing support, returning samples, seasonal turn of samples in sales showrooms, and sales tools.





Responsibilities:
•Samples Inventory: Track and inventory incoming sales samples. Scan, organize, hang samples.
•Prepare samples for sales presentations, sales meetings and trade shows.
•Maintain sales showrooms.
•Samples returns: Organize, pack and return prior seasons samples.
•Help facilitate and manage promo orders for internal and external use.
•Ensure that inquiries from sales representatives and internal staff relating to sales support needs are researched, resolved and communicated in a timely manner.
•Provide sell in and sell through marketing support to the sales team in collaboration with the sales operations and marketing teams.
•Ensure that inventory in all sample branches is managed so that samples are ordered and billed appropriately, and sample inventory is utilized as effectively as possible.
•Maintain the Sample storage room to ensure that samples are stored properly each season in the sample storage room.
•Support the execution of trade shows from a sales perspective, focused on sales tools, samples display areas, sales rooms, shipping of samples and supplies. Events include Outdoor Retailer (3x per year), GOA (2x per year) and SLC/SMC (1x per year) along with some regional show support as needed on an ad-hoc basis.
•Oversee the program that offers training and discount purchases to dealer employees.




Requirements:
•Post-secondary education or equivalent experience plus two to three years’ experience in a business environment, preferably customer service or operations.
•Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and above average ability to use computer software including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•This job requires the skill and experience to perform the assigned duties under minimal supervision and direction, and to make good judgments on priorities.
