CCC’s Bud Clark Clinic is seeking a Clinic Coordinator

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

The BCACC Coordinator provides direct patient and administrative support, with a focus on lean systems and optimal performance. The BCACC Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and improving the work of this team, ensuring care that is accountable, limited in scope, proactive, well-coordinated and patient-centered, addressing acute medical needs. Additionally, the BCACC Coordinator assists patients by facilitating establishment of primary care relationships and connection to other health services.

Duties will include:
Leadership of Acute Care Clinic Team
Guides care team in setting, tracking and achieving performance goals
With Associate Director of Primary Care and Associate Medical Director of Primary Care, oversees efficient and effective performance of team, with attention to workflows, processes, and continuous quality improvement
Patient Intake Management
Registration: Greets and registers patients for medical care in the clinical setting.
Verifies patient demographic and insurance information
Verifies Insurance Eligibility and Benefits (including policy limitations) for all payers using approved system to check for this information
Direct Clinical Care
Assists with direct patient care procedures and related tasks; completes patient intake, assists in obtaining patient histories, collects patient specimens, takes vital signs, prepares charts, and assists with medical examinations.
Quality and Compliance
Collaborates with OTC care teams and specialists from other Central City Concern Health Services teams to ensure appropriate triage and routing of referrals to CCCHS Complex Care services, including the AICU
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in health related field or an equivalent combination of skills and experience preferred.
Completion of all coursework for a Certificate-level Medical Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Educational programs (CAAHEP) or ABHES accredited or relevant clinical care training required.
Certified Medical Assistants preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year recent, verifiable medical assistant experience within a health care setting, with a behavioral health setting preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
Must have current CPR certification.
Must have the ability to read labels and distinguish between colors.
Must be physically able to walk, bend, stoop, be on feet for long periods of time, twist, kneel, reach, squat, pull, lift heavy patients or objects and climb stairs several times a day.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check.
