Manager, Programs - Customer Strategy & Operations – R-29-1310

We are looking for an experienced Manager of Programs to join our Customer Strategy and Operations technology team. This team is responsible for implementing the technology to make exceptional experiences for PGE customers. You will lead the program office responsible for the leadership, performance, and delivery of programs, projects and delivery processes, all while leveraging your proven skills guiding and developing individuals by providing them the tools and methods needed for success.

Additionally, you will drive vendor leadership, project outcomes, business case value realization, resource strategy / planning, financial forecasting / management, and process, people and technology efficiency. Using agile practices and the project and program methodology, as well as, the core processes that enable nimble, high quality technology efforts, you will be responsible for ensuring we deliver value to our customers through exceptional leadership.

You will support our journey by:

Managing all aspects of IT projects, typically involving multiple disciplines in the IT function. You will utilize your expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met. May employ Agile techniques and project management practices, ensure the processes are in place for consistent delivery and own the software development lifecycle.

You will bring the following skills to our team:

• 8+ years of experience in a related field or similar role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience and fluency with various methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DevOps.
• Understanding of SDLC’s and QA processes and functions.
• Analytical abilities, able to logically break down and troubleshoot problems, processes, and technology.
• Understanding of current and emerging project delivery concepts.
• Communication skills and the awareness to know when and how to use them for the organization to achieve its objectives.
• Knowledge of managing scope, schedule, budget and delivering business value.
• Business, math and financial acumen.
