If so, we’d love for you to apply to join our team as a Research Associate.

Like everyone on the DHM Research team, you’ll wear many hats as our new Research Associate. You’ll coordinate qualitative projects, learn the ins and outs of our research, and write reports that tell the stories behind the numbers. Above all, you’ll help shape our work and our culture. This full-time position includes a competitive salary and benefits package.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: $38,000–$42,000
Health, dental, vision: 100% covered for employees, buy-up options
Retirement: 401K with a 4% match
Stipend: $100 monthly for transportation, phone, internet
Community: four hours of paid volunteer time per month

You are curious and appreciate growing through challenging work. You are passionate about your community and eager to learn how research can help lead to decisions and policies that better meet the needs of the people who are impacted by them. You may have a background or interest in politics, policy, organizational decision making, psychology, or research. You’ll have lots of room to grow at DHM, but here are some things we’re looking for.

 Curiosity and a desire to learn
 Collaborative and an effective communicator
 Interest in research, public policy, and community impact
 Ability to coordinate multiple projects while paying close attention to details and timelines
 Strong analytical writing skills
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

 Hispanic/Latinx cultural competency
 Interest in conducting qualitative research (interviewing, moderating)
 Related work or educational experiences
