The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for a Program Coordinator with experience in IT Security and Privacy to join an excellent team, facilitate important training sessions and work to advance their IT operations.

This position is under the Classification Title Operations and Policy Analyst 2.


WHAT YOU WILL DO!
As a Program Coordinator, you will work with the Information Security and Privacy Office (ISPO), the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), the Department of Human Services (DHS), and the Enterprise Security Office (ESO) to coordinate information security and privacy awareness and education activities in order to foster a risk-aware culture and maintain federal and state compliance regulations and standards.

In this role, you will coordinate security and privacy related communications relating to awareness; and facilitate an annual information security and privacy training.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• (a) Five (5) years of professional-level experience related to IT Security or Privacy. OR (b) A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; AND Two (2) years of professional-level experience related to IT Security or Privacy. OR (c) A Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; AND One (1) year of professional-level experience related to IT Security or Privacy. OR (d) A Doctor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills.
• Experience developing communications related to IT Security and/or Privacy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel.
• Experience using Microsoft Project.
• Ability to produce a variety of communications with differing formats and media.
• Experience developing educational and/or awareness materials.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Familiarity with information security and privacy programs, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in creating and maintaining a work environment that is respectful and accepting of diversity among team members and the people we serve.
