Position Summary:
The Student Resource Center (SRC) offers academic advising, career development, learning support and orientation programming to WSU Vancouver students. As a member of the SRC team, the Lead Career Counselor provides comprehensive career support to a diverse student population. The Lead Career Counselor leads professional staff and supervises student staff, delivers workshops and leads campus wide career events, teaches a career development course, administers and interprets career assessments, develops and maintains relationships with faculty, staff and employers, and maintains career resources for students.

Minimum Requirements:
Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) years of experience working in a college or university setting providing career programming and counseling for students.
