THE ROLE
Your role stands at the intersection of developing and implementing compelling technology solutions for your colleagues and the fight to change the odds for low-income children and families. As a key member of Stand’s national technology team at a moment of tremendous need and opportunity, you will be responsible for directing all software development, releases, maintenance, and support as well as
leading, directing, and managing the work of direct reports on the team and coordinating with other

THE ORGANIZATION
Stand is a non-profit education advocacy organization focused on ensuring all students receive a high quality, relevant education, especially those whose boundless potential is overlooked and under-tapped because of their skin color, zip code, first language, or disability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a team of technical staff that includes engineers, analysts, and project manager
• Lead team in the planning, design, acquisition, configuration, development, and implementation of complex application systems;
• Manage prioritization and distribution of work and escalation;
• Oversee individual goal setting and performance management;
• Coach and develop staff;

Manage technical roadmap, conduct bi-annual planning with business units and serve as technology partner with key executives and user communities
• Facilitate end to end Project Life Cycle (PLC) management;
• Interact with business leaders and user communities to analyze business processes, define requirements, scope and propose solutions, and plan for execution and implementation;

• Lead change management efforts, including communication plans, user training and rollout, and deployment planning logistics;

Manage a portfolio of enterprise applications in a SaaS/Cloud based environment
• Manage vendors, contracts, and user licenses to optimize ROI for Stand;
• Oversee enterprise application portfolio including:
o CRM & ERP: Salesforce, Netsuite
o Web: WordPress, Drupal, Phone2Action (digital advocacy & email)
o Platform and Integration technology: AWS, Azure, API, Jitterbit
o BI platform and reporting: Domo, Tableau and big data BI with Voter File
• Lead the development and support of tablet and mobile apps on Salesforce community platform:
o Current project for 2020: build the next generation of Salesforce mobile & tablet app using the Salesforce lightning framework on the community platform

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Passionate commitment to Stand for Children’s mission and strategy to ensure that all children, regardless of their background, graduate from high school prepared for and with access to college or career training;
• BA/BS with at least 10 years direct experience in technology;
• Experience at the director level with demonstrated experience in technical business partnerships;
• Demonstrated experience driving technical transformation and change management across the enterprise;
• Understanding technologies of web sites, web applications, enterprise applications, support and development, large-scale project management, and business process engineering;
• Experience with Salesforce.com is required;
• Proficiency in technical development methodologies, PLC, SDLC, RAD, and Agile/SCRUM;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience;
• Exceptional customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills; a focus on rapport- building, listening, asking questions, and delivering information in a friendly manner to customers
• Ability to be stationary for extended periods of time and to travel to meetings outside of the office; Ability to lift more than 10 pounds, on occasion; May require the ability to climb stairs.
