Salary: $61,128.00 - $83,153.00 annually
This position provides a high level of executive support to the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The person in this position must possess strong customer service and communication skills; the ability to successfully navigate and prioritize competing interests and requests in a dynamic and political environment; and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. On a daily basis, this position is responsible for the efficient management of the CFO and Assistant Finance Director's busy calendars. Key duties include developing meeting agendas and supporting materials, writing memos and other communications, and developing external-facing financial documents. Other tasks include managing special projects for the CFO, responding to phone calls and emails, compiling data, documenting and communicating relevant information for a variety of committees and meetings, and preparing necessary information. The person in this position plays a key role in facilitating a smooth flow of operations within the office by managing competing priorities and providing information, resources and insight to the CFO. The Executive Assistant will frequently communicate and act as liaison between the CFO's Office and the internal and external Metro community. This position is part of the Finance and Regulatory Services team and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-end support as an Executive Assistant and have the ability to
• thrive in a fast paced dynamic work environment while maintaining a high-level of attention to detail
• proactively manage the CFO and Assistant Finance Director's chaotic schedules, ensuring accuracy and effectively coordinating logistics for complex meetings
• work effectively in a political environment, providing information and outstanding customer service to a wide range of people, organizations and groups.

An Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) and five years of responsible high-level executive and administrative support or any combination of education and experience that would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the job. Experience working with board members and/or elected officials is preferred. Work experience with diverse communities a plus. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Adobe InDesign preferred.
