The Domestic Violence Program Manager at Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) provides management for SEI’s Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (DV/SA) programming at Community & Family Programs (CFP). This is a full-time position that reports to the CFP Director of Restoration and Identification. The standard work schedule is Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Community & Family Programs building is located at 4803 NE 7th Ave Portland, OR 97211.


•Provides supervision of DV/SA Program staff including; DV/SA Lead Advocate, DV/SA Advocates, and DV/SA Youth Advocate.
•Provides program management including but not limited to; report writing, grant and budget management, process and system development and implementation, direct line staff support and supervision, and on-boarding process for new staff within the DV/SA program.
•Ensures that all grant outcomes are met based on the contracts/grants awarded to the DV/SA program.
•Ensures accurate and timely reporting for all contracts/grants including; monitoring deadlines, and ensuring effective implementation of existing and new projects and programs.
•Participates in the CFP Leadership team in developing service delivery standards that allow for fidelity with the SEI model, and maintain accountability throughout the department.
•Provides support of the development, design, and oversight of implementation of the various data systems for the DV Program, including but not limited to ETO, Service Point, and Osnium.
•Coordinates and implements services and/or projects with community partners.
•Identifies funding sources that enhance projects within DV/SA programming.
•Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
•Accepts other appropriate duties/responsibilities as assigned by CFP Directors.


•Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science plus two years’ experience providing domestic violence and sexual assault services to survivors within the African American community preferred.
•Management experience of both personnel and budget management preferred.
•Management experience with demonstrated process development and continuous program improvement within a social services environment highly desired.
•Must have effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people of varying social, economic and education levels.
•Must have excellent problem solving skills and must be detail oriented.
•Knowledge and demonstrated practice of Trauma Informed Care principles.
•Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions, rules and procedures; to work independently and be a vital and contributing part of a team.
•Advanced computer skills to include the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
•Excellent writing/documentation skills to include proper grammar, report writing/formatting, proofreading and editing.
•Must have current and valid state driver’s license, in good standing with no insurability restrictions and must be insurable under SEI’s auto insurance policy.
