The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is recruiting for an Executive Support - Administrative Specialist 1 to join the Health Systems Division - Behavioral Health Section team. This position provides a variety of technical and administrative support to managers and staff of the adult behavioral programs.

We are seeking an Executive Support - Administrative Specialist 1 who is experienced in supporting the managers and staff meet their program goals through changing priorities and tight deadlines.
We are seeking a person who has experience:
using proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling in preparing various documents, such as spreadsheets, data graphs, and reports to internal and external entities, staff and management;
managing multiple calendars and scheduling of meetings;
making independent decisions and knowing when to defer to a manager;
supporting and prioritizing workloads and projects;
using various Microsoft, or similar software programs, including Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word at a high proficiency level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Required Skills)
Three years of clerical/secretarial experience which included:
Two years at a full performance level performing typing, word processing, or other generation of documents; and
Lead work responsibility or coordination of office procedures.
Courses or training in Office Occupations or Office Technology may be substituted for up to one year of the clerical/secretarial experience.
No substitution will be made for the two years at the full performance level.
Proficiency using various software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, or similar programs;
Experience organizing meetings to include coordinating schedules, reserving rooms, sending invitations, researching/compiling materials, taking and distributing minutes;
Experience using independent and timely judgment to process, transmit and/or forward electronic messages and documents appropriately;
Experience preparing and reviewing routine correspondence/reports using Microsoft Office Software, and proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Experience coordinating efforts to prioritize and track progress of workloads, projects and assignments.
Experience collecting and organizing information related to current and future programs/projects.
Experience promoting a culturally competent and diverse work environment.
