POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides technical and administrative support to the Land Use and Urban Development center manager, program, staff and team activities. The position supports a variety of programs within the fast-paced Development Center including the Housing Bond, 2040 Grants, Build Small Coalition and Transit Oriented Development programs. The position is responsible for independently coordinating and performing a full range of technical and administrative services, communication and project management duties. This 40 hour per week position's schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with occasional overtime.

Successful candidates will be skilled in communication and administrative organization. Recent experience in political and/or urban planning work environment preferred. This position reports to the Administrative Supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Three years of administrative and/or clerical work experience and a high school diploma or G.E.D.; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired knowledge, skills, and ability required to perform the job.

Preferred:
• Proficiency with Drupal and Content Manager and a high level of skill with Word and Adobe Professional.
• Knowledge of urban and regional planning concepts, process and communication.
• Current notary public in Oregon or the ability/willingness to become a notary within six months of hire.
