Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District (THPRD) seeks a Center Supervisor who can help achieve our vision: we will enhance healthy and active lifestyles while connecting more people to nature, parks, and programs. Under the direction of the Recreation Department Manager, the Center Supervisor manages the programs and operations of the Cedar Hills Recreation Center with a budget of $2.6 million, supervising 8 regular status and up to 50 part-time and seasonal staff depending upon time of year. The Center provides a variety of classes, preschool programs, childcare, school-age camps and after-school programming, group fitness, and special events. The Center Supervisor will lead and develop staff and collaborate with colleagues at all levels throughout the district to build and maintain a positive work environment and provide exceptional recreation services to patrons of all backgrounds and abilities in the community.

Qualified applicants will possess at least five years of experience in park and recreation leadership and management with at least three years supervising full-time, regular status staff as well as a four-year degree from an accredited university with coursework in: park and recreation management, leisure services, public administration, or a related field. Well-qualified candidates will be Certified Park & Recreation Professionals, will be culturally aware and continuous learners, and will have prior experience running a recreation center. The selected candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead a team and move toward a unified vision.

The district offers a generous total compensation package, including a full salary range of $73,812.00 - $109,368.00/year (starting salary set by pay equity analysis), fully paid health benefit options, a THPRD (non-PERS) pension plan, paid time off, and training and professional development support.
