Sr. Data Systems Architect/Data Warehouse Developer

We believe that business analytics is a key driver of our future success and are rapidly expanding our BI team with a commitment to customer excellence.
Data Warehouse development including data modeling, analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and training other team members.
Drive all aspects of the product development life cycle from design to delivery as part of an Agile/Lean team.
Develop new features and functionality using tools and languages such as Java, Linux, Spring to provide responsive and innovative solutions
Set standards on technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing, and other ETL-related activities.
Write unit tests to maintain a high level of automated testing.
Create detailed technical specification and software documentation.
Provide maintenance break/fix support for existing and future products.
Design integrated solutions which may include applications, databases, networks, and related systems

Experience and Qualifications:
Strong Java development skills.
Experience working with Big Data and NoSQL data stores.
Experience with AWS Reshift a plus.
Experience consuming and developing RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Google Cloud and/or AWS technologies & applications.
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Chartio, etc. a plus.
SAP Business Objects or Cognos development experience a plus.
Technical skills in one or more of the following: SAS, Python, R, SPSS
Strong communication and relationship building skills (written, interpersonal and presentation).
A proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
Ability to quickly isolate and troubleshoot issues.
Work effectively in a fast-paced business environment for a rapidly growing mid-size company.
Work with multiple personality and cognitive styles.
Mentor individuals in acquiring and/or maintaining the skills through which they can advance their own capabilities as junior data warehouse developers and architects.
Highly customer focused and solutions driven. A creative problem solver.
Ability to receive constructive feedback in a professional manner
BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or another technical field
6+ years of experience in Data Warehouse design and data modeling patterns.
6+ years of experience with design, development, automation, and support of applications to extract, transform, and load data.
3+ years of experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQL Server databases and SQL development.
Experience with Crystal Reports a major advantage
Finance and accounting background

Normally quiet to moderate noise level
Working at a computer for long periods of time
