The Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician performs advanced-level technical facilities maintenance work and serves as a lead within a small team. The role will be responsible for maintaining Washington County's Jail and Community Corrections Center. Primary responsibilities include managing small projects, coordinating and assigning work orders, performing repairs, adjustments, and maintenance of building systems including, security, elevators, communications, automations, controls, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems (HVAC), and electrical equipment; maintains water boilers, steam generators, pumps, compressors, pneumatic equipment, motors, fans and miscellaneous electrical equipment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and have the ability to maintain records of maintenance performed, track inventory, and expenditures. Although not required, preference will be given to candidates who have experience performing similar work within a correctional facility.
