The Computer Shop Manager is involved with the full lifecycle of college-owned computer hardware, including procurement, deployment, security, repairs, and responsible recycling. The CSM administers as well as uses a variety of computer hardware related systems, including ticketing systems, databases of various types, vendor portals, MDM systems and more.
The CSM fosters relationships with vendors in ways that benefits computer shop operations and the College. The CSM maintains proficiency in hardware repairs, and regularly provides direct technical support to community members.
This is a full-time, exempt position with an annual salary of $65,000. Reed College offers an exceptional benefits package.
A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience and at least 5 years experience in computer hardware support. Apple Hardware and Software certification, or ability to become certified within 6 months of employment. Vendor relations experience and project management or lead role experience.
