UCP Oregon is an exciting and empowering place to work. We help adults who experience developmental disabilities to live the life of their dreams—whether that’s living independently, working in a great job, or pursuing their interests and hobbies.

We’re currently seeking a weekend caregiver “Personal Assistant” who will support a woman who lives in her own apartment in SE Portland and experiences developmental disabilities. She is a friendly, charming woman that likes to access the community. She is eager to work with a “Personal Assistant” who will value time spent in the community as well as downtime in the home. Together, you will enjoy shopping at Walmart, getting coffee, and going out to her favorite lunch spots.

You will also work together on household chores, cooking, attending medical appointments, and running errands. She needs assistance with showering, taking medications, managing her diet, assisting with PT exercises, and using adaptive equipment.

You will work Saturdays and Sundays, but you can choose from the following weekend hours: 9am to 5pm (16 hours), 8am to 5pm (18 hours), or 8am to 6pm (20 hours). *You’ll also work your regular hours on Agency holidays.
