Under the direction of management, drives cargo vans, small and medium duty box trucks involved with the delivery and pick up of supplies, support materials, interdepartmental and US Mail to all College campuses, centers, and sites. Responsibilities include delivery of packages as well as picking up and delivering of college surplus materials, performing office moves, and making property transfers across the district in an efficient manner with minimal direction from department management. Job requires ordinary conversational skills and courtesy to exchange routine information and provide routine assistance. Interpersonal contacts include peers in immediate work group, College staff, and students. Responsible for producing journey-level work output on an independent basis subject to supervisory direction and review.

1. Demonstrated experience in a light to medium duty cargo van and delivery truck (20' - 24').
2. Ability to work effectively with diverse academic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of students and staff.
3. Experience in operating a forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks and delivery vans/trucks

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of professional driving experience (preferably in light to medium duty cargo/delivery vehicles).
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Oregon, and possess an acceptable driving record including three years of accident free driving, with no recent moving violations.
Must acquire Forklift Operator certification within six months of employment.
