Central City Concern (CCC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency serving single adults and families in the Portland metro area who are impacted by homelessness, poverty and addictions. Founded in 1979, the agency has developed a comprehensive continuum of affordable housing options integrated with direct social services including healthcare, mental health counseling, recovery and employment. TITLE: Director, Clinical Applications
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
REPORTS TO: Chief Information Officer

SUMMARY: The Director, Clinical Applications is responsible for management and optimization of the clinical application systems provided by Central City Concern’s Information Technology Department. This includes development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Electronic Medical Record and other clinical information systems. The Director, Clinical Application reports directly to the Chief Information Officer. The role teams up with the Health Services leadership team to continuously improve on the Quadruple Aim: reducing costs, improving patient experience of care, managing population health, and staff satisfaction with systems. The Director works with various stakeholders to develop roadmaps and detailed work plans in support of clinical applications.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Demonstrated knowledge of Electronic Health Record applications. 2. A minimum of five (5) years of direct management experience in healthcare setting preferably managing clinical application teams. 3. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading complex project teams with members of multiple disciplines or an equivalent combination of relevant experience. 4. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage project management leaders and individual contributors. 5. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives with an emphasis on deploying software solutions that provide business value. 6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7. If in recovery, must be able to document continuous abstinence under independent living conditions or recovery housing for the immediate past two years. 8. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check. 9. Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects. 10. Ability to climb stairs several times a day. 11. Must adhere to agency’s non-discrimination policies. 12. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, life-styles and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
