The duties include general housekeeping, sanitizing rooms, responding to custodial emergencies, damp moping, vacuuming, and refilling bathroom dispensers. Applicants should be able to identify and perform basic assessment of janitorial issues, with good problem-solving skills being essential. Other duties might include assisting the maintenance team in areas where qualified. This is a physically-intensive position requiring the ability to walk up and down stairs frequently and lifting/moving furniture up to 75lbs. This position also requires the ability to work in multiple Portland area facilities

PAY RATE $13.50 per hour
We encourage applications from those in recovery, but we require 2+ years of continuous sobriety for candidates who identify with being in recovery. A DHS criminal background investigation is conducted on all new employees. Convictions are evaluated for each position and are not necessarily disqualifying.
