The SAP Basis Administrator maintains the full life-cycle management of SAP systems, servers and databases. This role administers all aspects of SAP systems including system installation, upgrades, patching (OSS notes, support packages, add-ons). Works collaboratively with Business Analysts and IS Infrastructure teams to analyze and resolve a diverse range of issues and requirements quickly and accurately.

•Administration of SAP ECC with AFS, BW on HANA, BOE/Lumira, GRC, Solution Manager, TREX, TDMS, OpenText, Taxware, Web Dispatcher, Fiori Frontend Server, Microsoft Azure Cloud infrastructure
•Expert in the ABAP \ JAVA stacks
•Perform system refreshes and participates in scheduling of refresh activities with stakeholders
•Monitors and tune system performance. Make recommendations of performance improvements to Basis team members and leadership
•SAP Solution Manager administration utilizing ChaRM, QGM, Monitoring and Alerting
•Define procedures and standards for configuring, monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting the SAP technical environment
•Perform storage capacity and sizing assessments and make recommendations
•Follow procedures and standards regarding Transport and Correction in conjunction with requirements defined by the Change Manager
•Generate SOX control audit artifacts and make improvements to control processes
•Cultural adaptability to support sites and users in other regions of the world
•Technical troubleshooting as needed to ensure 24/7 availability of all systems
•Develop and implement printer, network, portal, and GUI distribution strategies
•Design and implement data archiving strategies
•Perform rigorous quality checks to ensure efficient use of all SAP hardware, software, operating systems, and databases
•Test scripting and automation
•Evening schedules, on-call availability and/or weekend work periodically required to collaborate across time zones and to ensure timely project completion and 24/7 system availability

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred. Advance degrees and certifications a plus.
•Five yearsof IT experience with at least three years of experience in an SAP Basis Administrationcapacity
•Experiencein Microsoft Windows and SQL Server SAP environments
•Fullcycle ERP / BW implementation experience required
•SAP AFSindustry solution preferred
•Excellent knowledge of the SAP implementation lifecycle, ASAP methodology, phased global rollout approach, and implications on Basis administration
•Vendor relationships
•Relationship-building with counterparts at SAP and other vendors and partners
•In-depth understanding of SAP and non-SAP development tools
•Understand and participate in decisions regarding non-SAP systems
•Experience with SAP HANA preferred
•Experiencewith cloud environment
