Jama’s Licensing and Order Processing Specialist is an essential part of our customer-focused philosophy, ensuring our software products get into the hands of our customers quickly and simply.  As a results-oriented individual with a keen eye for compliance, you will act as the internal subject matter expert for order review and licensing fulfillment.  This position requires a high ethical standard in all aspects of the position along with the desire to assist Jama in continuing to evolve our processes and procedures to support our growth.  

Reporting into the Corporate Controller, this position will collaborate frequently with cross functional, multi-national teams within Sales, Sales Operations, Product, Finance and Operations, as well as external vendors to successfully accomplish their work.  

Primary Responsibilities: 
Review and process incoming orders for trials and purchases of software licenses, license renewals, and professional services following established processes and procedures  
Provide backup order review support to EMEA region as needed 
Review and execute order terms and other specifications to ensure timely fulfillment of licenses to customers, distributors, and resellers utilizing a variety of software tools and third-party vendor relationships  
Validate accuracy of customer license entitlement terms and invoicing data within Salesforce 
Facilitate the process of license exchanges and/or returns 
Troubleshoot order and fulfillment issues within established SLAs, escalating to stakeholders and key support roles as appropriate and overseeing through resolution 
Consistently anticipate and guard against potential contractual risks, escalating accordingly to management  
Collaborate with Sales Ops and other cross-functional teams to develop and evolve procedures and policies while ensuring consistency globally 
Contribute to fulfillment and product packaging configuration, from concept to back-end implementation in coordination with Product and Sales Ops teams 
Provide support for preparation and delivery of customer invoices and collections, as needed 
Opportunities to assist and/or lead special projects related to position and provide general support to Sales Ops and Finance teams 

Education and Experience Requirements:
2+ years of order review and licensing fulfillment experience within enterprise software industry (SaaS and On Premise) including familiarity with basic contract terminology  
Some post-secondary education preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education  

Technical/Functional Competencies: 
Demonstrated experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM/order entry software  
Technical aptitude and desire to learn other financial and operational software applications 
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 
Experience coordinating license fulfillment thru utilization of third-party vendor relationships

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; multi-tasking and prioritizing work effectively within required deadlines 
Experience working effectively under minimal supervision and collaborating within cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and geographies  
Flexibility to adjust schedule and work overtime as necessary during peak periods
