The Data Entry Specialist (Lead) is responsible for coordinating and performing data entry, maintaining record keeping, and developing and maintaining system reports. In addition, this position will provide lead support to ETO and SUN Data Entry Specialists and will communicate with partners on data‐related issues and training opportunities. This is a full‐time position that reports to the Data Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Manages data entry processes to maintain accurate information pertaining to program services for the purpose of accurate tracking and evaluation.
•Develops goals and priorities, manages workflow, and assigns tasks and projects to ETO and SUN Data Entry Specialists.
•Performs data collection and entry functions using existing protocols.
•Reviews, interprets and evaluates database reports. Communicates with Program Managers to verify information is accurate. Ensures complete and accurate data entry into agency databases.
•Keeps track of received data and source documents.
•Assists staff with data entry questions, compiles and analyzes data. Prepares and processes special and recurring reports and administrative records.
•Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
•Performs scheduled and ad hoc data analysis and reporting including system/data integrity reporting.
•Performs file transfer processes as needed based on project requirements.
•Resolves data questions, inconsistencies, or missing data problems.
•Keeps documented record of work completed.
•Reviews error reports and enters corrections into various agency and county databases as well as distributes data quality reports for agency staff to correct.
•Participates in site review process and maintains all site review data.
•Maintains all data documents for Federal and State and external partner requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor’s Degree is required
•At least three (3) years of data collection/entry experience.
•Intermediate knowledge of computer systems and software technologies required.
•Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data.
•Must have effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people of varying social, economic and education levels.
•Must be highly organized and self-motivated with effective time management skills.
•Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
•Must be detail oriented with a high data entry accuracy rate.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
•Must be a team player.
•Must have a professional attitude and work style.
