Washington County Community Corrections serves an important role in keeping our community safe. This department works to prevent the recurrence of crime among adult offenders by supervising them and connecting them with the resources they need to change problem behavior. Community Corrections supervises approximately 3,600 offenders using a range of evidence-based strategies, while working in partnership with the Courts, law enforcement, and the state Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision. In addition to community supervision, we operate the 215-bed Community Corrections Center, a transitional facility that offers a range of services and programs to assist residents to successfully return from custody to the community.

The Assistant Community Corrections Center Manager assists the Corrections Center Manager in the management, direction, and coordination of operations and activities of the Community Corrections Center. Responsibilities include direct supervision of shift supervisors, overseeing center daily operations, addressing crisis situations as needed, and providing coverage of center operations in the absence of the Center Manager. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead by example and encourage team building and employee engagement; advocate for continuous improvement efforts and have the ability to work collaboratively to solve complex problems.
