This role requires broad experience with MS SQL-Server queries and programming, which includes writing complex queries, developing stored procedures, and developing reports using Microsoft SQL-Server Reporting Services (SSRS). It also requires experience with Java Script and browser-based application development and maintenance including the use of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Representational State Transfers (RESTful) APIs, and good working knowledge of HTML. Additionally, experience and knowledge of systems and applications that use a designed and scripted task and workflow as a basis for their general operation is a definite plus as well as a good background in foundation in IT technologies including general networking, secure wireless, fundamental IT infrastructure, client hardware, peripheral technologies and experience with mobile applications.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess a well-rounded technical skill set with the ability and desire to follow process specifications and adhere to technical standards. In addition to the technical skills, this role requires freely sharing information with coworkers and technical team members as well as providing outstanding customer service which includes strong communication skills and the desire to help others by providing technical support with the applications they use daily.
Education and Experience:
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; AND two (2) years of experience providing professional level information technology analysis and support; OR
An Associate's Degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; AND four (4) years of experience providing professional level information technology analysis and support; OR
Six (6) years of experience providing professional level information technology analysis and support.
If you have completed education in a foreign college or university and are using this education to meet the minimum qualifications, you must provide documentation that the foreign education is comparable to that received within the United States' accredited college or university system or your application will not be accepted.
Additional Licenses, Certificates, Physical Abilities and Specialty Requirements:
Must possess a driver's license valid in the State of Oregon and an acceptable driving record per Washington County policy.
Salary $7,252.76 - $8,812.86 Monthly
