Staff Cyber Security Control System (Operational) Analyst (R-19-0758)

Then you’re ready to join and contribute to our cyber team! As a control system analyst, you’ll continue our mission of ensuring we keep the lights on and the bad guys out! This is a unique opportunity to join forces with our existing fabulous team of experts and be an industry cyber security leader. This position will mostly be at our offices in Downtown Portland, but you’ll also travel to both our generation sites and applicable cutting-edge technical trainings. This position will be filled at the Staff Analyst level commensurate with the applicant’s experience.

Sr. Application Developer: Education/Experience/Certification Requirements:
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• 2-4 years of Industrial Control System cyber security experience in a Utility or equivalent IT field.
• For Engineers, Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) is a preferred qualification
• For all candidates, knowledge of ICS network systems and the ability to obtain certification in networks such as Windows, Cisco, Linux, etc.
• Proficient human relations skills.
• Thorough knowledge of fundamental engineering, economic principles and concepts.
• Ability to develop:
 Detailed broad knowledge of ICS systems, such as ABB, Allen Bradley Contrologix and Emerson OVATION.
 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to review, evaluate, and analyze technical information, policies, and reports.
 Proficient project management and leadership skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microprocessor design.
• A valid Driver’s License with evidence of a safe driving record is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel to PGE Generation facilities.
