Steve Bass

Oregon Public Broadcasting, President & CEO

Steve Bass has served as president and CEO of Oregon Public Broadcasting since 2006. He currently serves on the boards of Greater Public, PRX and the Station Resource Group; worked previously at Nashville Public Television, WGBH/Boston, WGBY/Springfield, MA, and PBS; holds a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin's Graduate School of Business; and is an active musician and serves as a clarinetist with the Oregon East Symphony in Pendleton and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
