Located in the transition zone between the moist, heavily-forested west side of the Cascades and the drier bunch grass prairies of the east, Tom McCall is home to one of Oregon's most impressive displays of spring wildflowers. Volunteers will perform trail maintenance during this strenuous event and tasks include trail brushing, water bar cleaning and construction. Come prepared for heavy lifting and digging on steep hillsides. This work is best suited for adults. A carpool from our SW Portland office will be offered, please inquire if you are interested in a spot. Registration Required.
