Join Friends of Trees for our FINAL event of the season and help us go out with a real bang! Our Tree Care events are great for volunteers of nearly all ages and abilities as spreading mulch is an activity that can be adjusted to ensure everyone can contribute. Mulching is an important task that is done in preparation for the warmer, drier months. One bucket at a time, volunteers will be working together to mulch hundreds of native trees and shrubs that were planted this past winter. Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and get ready to have fun! Volunteering as a group? Under the age of 18? Or any other questions? Feel free to contact us at 503-595-0213 or email@example.com're happy to help! This event is in partnership with the Sandy River Watershed Council, the U.S. Forest Service, and Friends of the Delta.
