Assist Conservancy staff with vegetation inventory, monitoring, research, and stewardship projects in support of The Nature Conservancy’s conservation efforts on the Zumwalt Prairie. Volunteers will learn a variety of field ecology skills and apply them in collecting and analyzing data. You will also have the opportunity to learn about and contribute to on-the-ground conservation work. Volunteers should have education and/or skills in botany, biology or other natural resource disciplines. Time commitment is 35 hours/week and placements are 8 to 12 weeks, starting in May, July or August. Shared housing and some expense reimbursement available. Application deadline is February 17.
