Lisa Keohokalole Schauer leads a team of facilitators, storytellers and strategic communicators at PointNorth. In all of her work she centers belonging with an emphasis on ensuring the process will be engaging and transparent. This belief is built on the spirit of inclusion and Aloha, an expression of her Hawaiian heritage. Lisa brings a combination of strategic communication experience with organizational development to her understanding of how people connect.
Prior to PointNorth, Lisa was a major shareholder at a regional engineering and construction management firm. She led the business development, communications, HR, finance, compliance, and IT functions. A natural connector, her career has included successfully leading numerous multi-billion-dollar pursuits resulting in growing people and profit by tripling the staff size and increasing revenue over 350%.
Lisa is the Chair of Washington State University Board of Regents and was appointed by Governor Jay Inslee in 2018. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Columbia River Economic Development Council, Children’s Center, Association of Washington Businesses, Columbia Credit Union, and the Clark College Foundation. Lisa holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership from George Washington University and bachelor’s degrees in public relations and political science from Gonzaga University.
