Natália Martins Schmidt is an Inclusion & Impact Specialist at OnPoint Community Credit Union, where she leads initiatives that advance equity, inclusion, employee and community engagement across the organization and its footprint in Oregon and SW Washington. With a background in education and coaching, she brings a people-centered, culturally responsive approach to designing programs that build inclusive environments and expand access to opportunity. As an Afro-Latina immigrant from Brasil and a first-generation college graduate, Natália is deeply committed to creating systems that empower historically oppressed and marginalized communities. Her work bridges strategy, learning, and community partnerships to foster belonging and drive meaningful impact. She has two cats, Opal and Marta, who bring immense joy to her household. As soon as the weather is dry, you can find her walking, hiking in Forest Park, running at the Waterfront Park. You can always come chat about equity, financial wellness, books (all the books!), backpacking, vegan food, and everything that brings you joy. You will see Natália at her happiest by sitting at a table gathering around food.
