Diane Lim is the inaugural Director of the Equity Hub at the U.S. Treasury Department, bringing over 40 years of experience as an economist specializing in the distributional effects of public policies. She has held prominent roles in the federal government, nonprofit, and academic sectors, including serving as chief economist for multiple congressional committees and as a senior economist at the President’s Council of Economic Advisers. A former professor and dedicated thought leader, Diane is a founding advisory board member of UVA’s Batten School and a past president of the National Tax Association. She lives in Fairfax, VA, where she enjoys yoga, writing, and time with her family.
