Self Compassion is a key, and often misunderstood, component of effective leadership. We can all, including established leaders, be negatively affected by doubts, fears, and criticism. This is exponentially true when making decisions – impacting friends and family, business outcomes, lives, and livelihoods. Especially in today’s world of uncertainty, constant instability, and a rush to “disruptive modelling” in the workplace, clarity of thought and action are increasingly vital.
Self-compassion is an indispensable tool that facilitates clear decision-making in the workplace.
This in-person workshop will be led and facilitated by Yon Na, PhD. Yon is an organizational psychologist who helps executives, leaders & teams accelerate performance by applying organizational psychology principles, and has led efforts in companies including Warner Bros., The New York Times, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, and Nordstrom. Dr. Yon’s research centers on the intersection of identity, culture, and leadership. She shares her research on Asian women in leadership at conferences, companies, and colleges.
