Humble Beginnings (501(c)3) is pleased to present the inaugural Black Rural Network Conference, And Still We Rise on May 22, 2022 at the Wildhorse Casino in Pendleton, OR, 8 am – 1 pm. The event maybe streamed virtually for these that can not attend in person (TBD).

We have invited Black leaders from rural communities to talk about the importance of civic engagement. We will also learn how to support Black led and Black centered initiatives/organizations across the state. Our guest speaker is Mayor Alexander Johnson II of Albany. Our musical guest is blues singer extraordinaire Lady A and her funk band.

A lite lunch will be provided. We have staggered prices from $0 – $100 based on your ability to pay.
