The Colegio Cesar Chavez 50th Anniversary is a celebration of the first accredited, independent four-year Chicano/Latino college in US history! A college known as A School Without Walls in Mount Angel, OR, it was named after Mexican American civil rights activist Cesar Chávez. We will reminisce on Oregon Latino History that became a catalyst for equal educational opportunities for Chicano and minority students in Oregon.

Enjoy food, drinks, games, music and entertainment. Get mesmerized with storytelling features throughout the afternoon from Alumni, and visit the Colegio Cesar Chavez Exhibit and Educational Resources Tabling Activity and meet with representatives from Oregon State University, the University of Oregon, and the Oregon Historical Society to learn about the many resources available to the public regarding the history of the Colegio Cesar Chavez as well as the history of the Latino/a community in Oregon.
