Join us at Stevens Pavilion to celebrate the incredible Western redcedar! We’ll dive into how to identify this native tree, its traditional uses, some of the current threats they are facing with climate change, and what we can do to help them survive and thrive for generations to come. Hoyt Arboretum Friends Nature Educators and community partners will lead educational activity stations at the Pavilion and onto the trails. This is a free, drop-in event. No need to register.
